• Extensive knowledge of servers, hubs, routers, switches, core switches, modems, patch panels, Network load balancers, CSU, Firewalls, VPN’s and data communications, Wireless AP’s, Citrix NetScaler, BGP routing, VM Ware V1000 switches and diagnostic equipment
• Knowledge of network-operating systems (MS Server 2008, Cisco IOS, Linux), monitoring, Cisco router IOS, service packs and patches
• Extensive knowledge of network security procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of Linux DNS and internet technologies

• Work in close collaboration with Production, R&D, Maintenance, and Quality Control
• Evaluate, propose, and implement process optimization and yield improvement programs

• Provide operator training for start up operations, refresher training and training as required
• Work with senior engineers for guidance
• Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Adhere to all quality guidelines and work closely with the quality department to ensure proper guidelines are in place and being followed.
• Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality.
