ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

-Maintains and operates ammonia compressors, liquid ammonia pumps and receivers

-Maintains and operates glycol concentrators, condensers, fans, pumps, evaporators, plate heat exchangers and shell and tube heat exchangers

-Knowledge of Freon refrigeration equipment, air conditioners, unit heaters, water heaters preferred

-Documents work completed and assigns time and parts to the proper equipment codes so that equipment repair costs can be accurately tracked

-Haz Mat team member

-Uses/updates SOPs, drawing mark-ups and log books to communicate across shifts

-Understands and follows safe practices for ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment

-Diagnose and repair refrigeration and heating system problems.

-Install, repair, tear down and rebuild system components on all phases of refrigeration and heating systems in the plant

-Electrical trouble shooting skills on refrigeration and heating systems

-Evacuate all or any part of the ammonia refrigeration systems in the plant

-Maintain and operate an Energy Management System

-Understand component controls and overall control of the system

Salary:
From $ 19.80 To $ 19.80 per hour.

Job Requirements:
This job requires less than high school education and 3 years of experience.

Additional Requirements: *3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred

*CARO certified (or interest and ability to become CARO certified within a designated timeframe)

*Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment

*High School Diploma or GED preferred
