On behalf of Research Triangle Institute, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Part-Time Field Interviewers for a government sponsored research study in the Kalkaska, Michigan area. Candidates can also live in the following areas: within a 100 mile radius and including the following counties: Emmet, Cheboygan, Charlevoix, Otsego, Antrim, Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Crawford, Benzie, Manistee, Wexford, Missaukee, and Roscommon.

RTI is an independent nonprofit organization headquartered in Research Triangle Park, NC. RTI is dedicated to conducting research that improves the human condition. Field Interviewers will work on the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH).

Position Summary:
The NSDUH Field Interviewer position is a part time position offering an average of 20-25 hours per week. Field Interviewers will be responsible for traveling to participant’s homes in an assigned area and conducting research interviews with randomly selected participants using a laptop computer provided by RTI. This position is a good fit for someone that is looking for a long-term part-time position. Please note that although this is an on-going research study there will be periods of down time during each quarter of the year where no work is available.

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and must be willing to travel locally.

This position falls under the Services Contract Act and, for the counties in which we are seeking candidates, the base hourly pay ranges from $14.46 to $14.46 plus $3.59 per hour for Health and Welfare Compensation. Mileage will be reimbursed at $.51 per mile. Holiday and Vacation Pay is also offered.

Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are encouraged to apply!

There will be a 7-day overnight training required for this position from March 23rd- 29th, 2012 (travel expenses, meals, and lodging, will be covered by RTI). The location of this training will be Cincinnati, OH.
